Life in the Waghi Valley, Papua New Guinea

a new look for the landcruiser

Today was the first day of production on the coffee documentary project. I’ve been in the country for 10 days now and the pre-production has taken some time so I’m glad to finally get going. Gabriel, on the far left, was my camera assistant and I’m training Steven (in the car) to be the boom operator. This is after the shoot. We tried to take a short cut to Banz but there was a landslide on the road so we had to turn around and take the main highway. While I was up on the ridge taking landscape pictures the man who’s proudly pointing at his handiwork was giving the landcruiser a make-over.
